Fees & Types of Associates
Every client has unique needs, and at Shivani Wells Therapy Group, we recognize that finding the right therapist involves many factors—including what works for your budget. To support this process, we have outlined the different types of associates on our team to help you better understand how their fees are determined.
While all of our clinicians are highly skilled, their levels of training and experience vary, and some have specialized certifications in trauma-informed modalities. As independent contractors, our therapist sets their own fees annually within our recommended fee guide.
Many of our services are eligible for coverage under extended health benefits. Additionally, we offer Reduced-Cost Counselling, ICBC, and CVAP Counselling. We encourage you to check with your insurance provider to confirm your coverage.
As of December 20th, 2024, sessions with both Registered Social Workers and Registered Clinical Counsellors are GST exempt. We will no longer be charging GST for any of our psychotherapy services, including sessions with Graduate Intern Counsellors.
If you’re unsure where to start, our Clinical Coordinator is here to help you find the right fit. Book a free 20-minute online Client-Therapist Match Consultation or fill out this online form to be matched with a therapist on our team.
